We were proud to attend Housing 2025 in Manchester this week – an event filled with honest conversations, fresh perspectives, and meaningful connections, all driving us toward a more sustainable, inclusive, and community-focused future.

Pre-Housing Business Breakfast – Hosted by Sutcliffe
The event kicked off with an insightful breakfast session hosted by Sutcliffe, featuring Gavin White, Stephen Young, and Trevor Steven.
Discussions explored the complexities of modern planning, the shift toward new build methods, and the essential role of placemaking and wellbeing in delivering the government’s target of 1.5 million new homes.
Panel & Lunch with Downtown in Business
We joined Downtown in Business for an afternoon of discussion and lunch, where the conversation focused on social value, regeneration, and mental health in construction, a subject close to our hearts both professionally and personally.
A special thank you to Damian Cross FRICS FCIOB for joining us and contributing to the thoughtful dialogue.
Fringe Events & Industry Receptions
Evenings were spent reconnecting with our peers at some fantastic fringe events hosted by jmarchitects, JDA Architects, Mansell Building Solutions, and Place North West.
These informal settings were the perfect backdrop for meaningful exchanges of ideas and a chance to celebrate the strength of our industry network.
As well as spending sometime at the Housing 2025 expo itself, hearing some fantastic discussions and debates within the sector and gaining further insight into what is up and coming!
It was great to see so many familiar and new faces, including:
Mansell Building Solutions, JMArchitects, Box Clever, Jennings Design Associates, MDA Consulting, Condy Lofthouse Architects, Buttress Architects, Jefferson Sheard Architects, Daneets Developments, Currie & Brown and many more

Day Two – Collaboration in the Sunshine
Markhams, On The Lawn offered a more relaxed setting for continued conversation.
A big thank you to the team for the warm hospitality and a brilliant afternoon of thoughtful dialogue and connections.
We enjoyed catching up with Shape Engineering, DK Architects, DAY Architectural, Nugent, Sutcliffe, Steven A Hunt & Associates, Salus Services, among others.
A huge thank you to everyone we met, listened to, and learned from throughout the week.
Housing 2025 has given us plenty to reflect on as we continue to build with purpose, responsibility, and community at the heart of everything we do.
We’re looking forward to doing it all over again next year!
