This nomination is in recognition of the Tiber Community Building Project in Toxteth, Liverpool – a development that exemplifies our deep-rooted commitment to social value and community-driven construction.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Krol Corlett Construction has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Community Benefit Award at the RICS Awards 2025, a prestigious national event recognising exceptional contributions to the built environment.
About the RICS Community Benefit Award
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards celebrate inspirational initiatives across the UK that make a real and lasting difference to society. The Community Benefit category specifically honours projects that have positively impacted communities through innovation, collaboration, and social impact.
Tiber Community Project & Social Value
The Tiber Community Building stands as a powerful testament to the values that guide our business. This project was far more than a construction job, it was a collaborative journey with local young people, the Tiber Young People’s Steering Group, and community leaders to bring to life a space that reflects their aspirations.
From the very outset, the young people of the area helped shape the vision for the site. Their ideas influenced the design, use, and function of the building, which now serves as a community-led football and training facility, providing opportunities for skill-building, recreation, and social connection.

Our Team and Partners
We extend heartfelt thanks to Condy Lofthouse Architects, the entire Krol Corlett delivery team, including apprentice Isak Serrano, who brought passion and purpose to this project, and to our valued partners, whose collaboration made the development possible.
A special thank you also goes to Sha’Rae and the Tiber Young People’s Steering Group and to Debbie Wright, CEO of the Tiber Community Project, for their vision and leadership.
A Royal Seal of Approval
The project’s impact has already gained national attention, including a Royal Visit, highlighting its importance to the wider region, and reinforcing the significance of community-led regeneration.
What This Nomination Means
To be recognised by the RICS Awards is an honour in itself. It reflects not only the quality of our construction but the integrity of our mission—to deliver spaces that change lives.
As we prepare for the awards ceremony in London, we remain deeply inspired by the communities we serve and motivated to keep building with purpose.
