Enhanced Decontamination Facilities – this includes provisions for suitable drying rooms. The provision of external facilities for personal hygiene on return from an incident as well as facilities for de-gassing BA kit and the safe storage of contaminated PPE.
This includes the providing external covered areas to facilitate, where stations do not have an existing wash canopy.

Executing live projects posed a few challenges, particularly in maintaining access and egress within operational buildings.
At the Philips Park flagship site & Blackley – there was merged multi-occupancy across the two station teams during refurbishments. This all required seamless coordination.
Other specific challenges included placing the Fire and Rescue team on the ground floor to ensure a rapid response within two minutes of receiving a call.
In alignment with Philips Park Station’s commitment to social engagement, Krol Corlett supported their chosen local community group ‘Friends of Philips Park’.
This included a donation towards community-focused activities and the Steven Hunt memorial garden at the front of their Station.
