We’re proud to share that KC Quantity Surveyor, Sam Holbrook, has been named Northern Rising Star at the Interact Awards 2025, held at the Royal Armouries Conference & Events in Leeds.
This annual event is a fantastic celebration of the rising generation of construction professionals, bringing together industry talent for an evening of networking, recognition and fun and the announcement of the top two Rising Stars in the North.
From a strong and competitive field of nominees, Sam was selected as one of the top two Northern Rising Stars, securing his place in the national finals to be held in London later this year.
Sam recently graduated with a First Class Degree in Quantity Surveying and has already proven to be a standout member of our commercial team. His professionalism, technical capability and collaborative approach have earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Most notably, Sam played a key role in the delivery of the recently completed Bolton College project.
Working closely with the senior commercial team to manage cost planning, subcontractor packages and stakeholder engagement.
The project focused heavily on social value outcomes, benefited from Sam’s ability to combine commercial awareness with a strong sense of purpose and community impact.
