The month has provided plenty of opportunities to connect with clients, partners and fellow professionals, while sharing insight, building relationships and celebrating the work taking place across the industry.

The event provided valuable insight into placemaking, economic growth, investment and the partnerships needed to create thriving communities, while giving Team KC the opportunity to connect with people from across the built environment.

We were also delighted to attend the National Project Excellence Awards, celebrating outstanding people, projects and partnerships from across the construction industry.

As proud sponsors of Heritage Project of the Year, the evening was particularly meaningful for KC, reflecting our longstanding experience in the restoration and renewal of historic buildings. The event also raised more than £7,000 for Mindflow, supporting its work to break down the stigma around mental health in construction.

September also saw Team KC come together to support the Alder Hey Children’s Charity Golf Day, where a record-breaking £255,000 was raised.

The funds will help provide pioneering neurological equipment at Alder Hey, supporting children and young people living with complex brain and spinal conditions. We were proud to join the corporate community at The West Lancashire Golf Club and contribute to an incredible day of fundraising.

We were delighted to come together with so many wonderful people to celebrate the incredible work of Little Lights Liverpool and raise vital funds to support babies, young children and families across the region.

From great company and entertainment to plenty of laughter and dancing, it was a brilliant afternoon and a fantastic opportunity to come together in support of such an important cause.

We are proud to continue our support of Little Lights and the vital work they do, particularly as we play a part in delivering their new purpose-built hospice in West Derby.

As we progress with the project on site, it is fantastic to see the wider support around Little Lights continue, and we look forward to seeing the difference this year’s fundraising will make for children and families across the region.
