Financial Conduct Authority – Leeds
Project Scope
Krol Corlett completed a comprehensive fit-out at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in Leeds City Centre to produce a first-class and professional finish.
After being informed of an accelerated deadline by the client, the project was delivered in six weeks alongside architects Studio Pringle and building surveyor Ben Wilkinson of Gerald Eve.
Krol Corlett installed new kitchen units, meeting space partitions, doors and lighting, as well as precise ceiling alterations and electrical amendments, including HVAC and power upgrades. There were also flooring renovations and a new fire alarm system.
As well as, the installation of CCTV and high-security door access controls, as well as providing new furniture across the premises to supplement the existing supply of the client.
Challenges
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in Leeds City Centre is a five-storey live office block, used by other global brands such as Burberry.
To ensure a smooth and seamless project, Krol Corlett co-ordinated meticulous delivery times to ensure disruption to other building occupiers remained minimal.
The entire development remained carefully synchronised around the first-floor FCA work area for the entire six-week scheme.
The communication process and close partnerships developed by Krol Corlett during the build were key factors in delivering this successful and time-efficient project.
