These works address overheating in teaching spaces and offices while repurposing lecture theatres into modern IT suites.

The scope includes removal of the existing HVAC system, lecture theatres, ceilings, radiators and extensive M&E installations. The programme delivers a full 3rd floor refurbishment, including demolition of partition walls to create larger teaching areas, installation of MVHR units, in-room air distribution, AC cassettes and roof-level condensers, along with new services for the IT suites. General and emergency lighting upgrades, ceiling replacements, new floor finishes, redecorations, joinery, acoustic works and fire stopping at compartment lines are also included.

This package delivers the refurbishment and reconfiguration of key areas within the James Parsons Building.

Works include strip-out and demolition of existing walls, partitions and services, followed by installation of new M&E for power, data, lighting, HVAC, AV, fire alarms and clinical equipment. The refurbishment creates new teaching and breakout spaces, clinical and pharmacy teaching areas, and improved acoustic performance. It also introduces new floor, wall and ceiling finishes, joinery, structural adaptations and internal works to provide high-quality, flexible learning environments.
