Day One
Day One began with the Krol Corlett-sponsored Downtown in Business Leaders Lunch, featuring Angela Barnicle, from Leeds City Council who shared a bold and ambitious vision for the future of Leeds.
Angela’s presentation explored major regeneration initiatives, including the South Bank development programme, innovation districts, and improved transport connectivity, all reinforcing the city’s continued growth and investment potential.
Later in the evening, members of the KC team attended the Downtown in Business Dinner with Tim Johnson, Chief Executive of Wolverhampton Council, Richard Lawrence Executive Director of Place, Prosperity & Sustainability for Birmingham Council and Nick Gerrard Growth & Prosperity Programme Director for Blackpool
While others attended the sponsored by Krol Corlett, FBE National Leeds & Manchester Quiz with Constructive Futures students and set spirits high for the week ahead. a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers in a more informal setting, with plenty of friendly competition along the way.
Day Two
Day two began with an insightful Place North West breakfast event, bringing together experts from regeneration, commercial property, and infrastructure to explore a key question: what does it really take to create thriving communities from scratch?
The discussion offered valuable perspectives on placemaking, connectivity, and the future of our towns and cities.
Later in the day, Krol Corlett hosted a UKREiiF lunch. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with clients, colleagues, and new faces in a relaxed setting. A huge thank you to all our guests for making it such a memorable afternoon.
The evening saw the KC team attending a number of drinks receptions across Leeds. It was great to catch up with so many familiar faces, strengthen existing relationships, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that makes UKREiiF such a standout event in the industry calendar.
Day Three
The final day of UKREiiF began with KC sponsored Interact Breakfast followed by the Jefferson Sheard rooftop BBQ, where the sunshine finally made a welcome appearance and provided the perfect setting to round off a busy week of networking and discussion.
The day continued with rooftop drinks hosted by Hollis and Langtree, offering fantastic views across Leeds and another great opportunity to catch up with industry contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.
To round off the week, the team enjoyed a UKREiiF dinner the perfect way to unwind after a packed few days in Leeds, reflect on the conversations and connections made throughout the event, and celebrate another successful year at UKREiiF.
