Krol Corlett was proud to once again support the Claire House Dragon Boat Race, joining forces for the third time with our partners Walker Sime.
It was a fantastic day filled with enthusiasm, collaboration and community spirit, with businesses from across the region coming together at Princes Dock to compete on the water and raise vital funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The event is always a brilliant opportunity to bring people together, strengthen relationships and, most importantly, support a charity that makes such a difference to children, young people and their families across the region.

Proudly Supporting Claire House Children’s Hospice
This year’s Peel Waters Dragon Boat Race comes at an exciting time for Claire House Children’s Hospice, with plans for a brand-new hospice having been approved.
The event so far has raised over £42,000 so Claire House can continue the incredible work they do, providing specialist care, support and unforgettable experiences for seriously ill children and their families across the North West.
We’re proud to support such an important cause and to play our part in helping Claire House continue making a lasting difference to families when they need it most.
Apprentices Make a Splash
Our apprentices were also able to get involved in the action, taking to the water alongside the wider Krol Corlett and Walker Sime teams. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to step outside of their usual roles, get involved in a community event and experience the team spirit and camaraderie that made the day so enjoyable.
At Krol Corlett, we’re committed to supporting the development of our apprentices and providing opportunities for them to gain experience, build confidence and get involved in activities beyond the workplace. It was great to see them representing Team KC while helping to raise vital funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
