Abbots Lea School - Woolton
Project Overview:
The project involved refurbishing the second floor of the original Listed Building at Abbotts Lea School, reinstating it as a functional office and archive storage area to complement the existing Admin space.
Works included creating a larger archive area by forming a structural opening between two rooms, upgrading an existing office, and improving the corridor with plaster repairs, new carpeting, LED lighting, sockets, network connections, and redecoration. Timber windows, aluminium-framed secondary glazing, and fire doors were repaired and brought up to current standards.
Additional works ensured compliance with Building Regulations, including fire safety and accessibility requirements.

Gilmour Infants School - Garston
Project Overview:
The project at Gilmour Primary School involved improving the infant playgrounds, which had deteriorated over several years.
The three adjoining playgrounds for Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 showed varying levels of wear, including damaged tarmac surfaces and drainage issues causing ponding.
Works included resurfacing, addressing drainage levels, and converting a grassed area into an all-weather barked play space to reduce mud and prevent silt build-up in drains, ensuring safe and usable playgrounds year-round.

Booker Avenue School - Mossley Hill
Project Overview:
The project at Booker Avenue Primary School involved recovering the main hall’s steel standing seam roof, which was showing defects, poor detailing, and leaks around the central valley gutter.
Works included installing a new insulated box valley gutter, updated flashings, drainage improvements, and targeted internal repairs to address damage caused by previous leaks.
Insulation was upgraded where required, and the roof was replaced with a steel standing seam system to match the existing structure.
