Located in the vicinity of Liverpool’s majestic Anglican Cathedral, this student living development comprised 86 4-5 bedroom facilities. Primarily housing international students, it maintained consistently high occupancy rates, even during holiday periods. Dwell Student Living invested £3.5 million into rejuvenating these student homes, entrusting the project to Krol Corlett.
The primary challenge of this project revolved around the need to accommodate students throughout the renovation. With most units occupied, ensuring a conducive living and studying environment was paramount. Krol Corlett strategically addressed this challenge by phasing the project. At any given time, only two student blocks were vacant, minimising disruption for the residents. As one phase concluded, students seamlessly transitioned into refurbished accommodations, allowing the next phase to begin.
Scope of Work
