The University of Salford’s Peel Park campus boasts a rich history. Our expert Education team worked diligently to successfully deliver the transformation of the Lady Hale building from Bank to a vibrant University Careers Hub.
Our team were tasked with a complete strip-out and reconfiguration, transforming the space into a dynamic and modern facility that would cater to the needs & well-being of the students and staff.
Together, we created a space that will inspire for many years to come.
Our expert team at Krol Corlett worked diligently to deliver a host of services, ensuring the successful transformation of the Lady Hale building. Some of the key services included:
Erection of internal sub-dividing walls: We designed and built internal stud walls to optimise the available space.
Design, supply, and installation of moving walls: To offer flexibility and adaptability, we incorporated moving walls that allow the space to be customised for various activities and events.
Modifications and Additions to the existing HVAC system: We made necessary changes to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable environment throughout the year.
Installation of small power, data, and access control: To support modern technology and connectivity, we installed the necessary infrastructure for power, data and access control systems.
New finishes and decoration works: The aesthetics of the space were vital to creating a welcoming and productive environment. Our team installed new finishes and decorations to make the space more visually appealing.
Testing: Our commitment to quality extended to commissioning and testing to ensure that all systems and components in the space functioned seamlessly.
Our specialist education team brought extensive knowledge to the campus, with it’s unique logistics and demographics.
We’ve been lucky enough to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders at the University of Salford, as well as with the design team, local supply chain, and specialist subcontractors.
