Krol Corlett has been appointed to undertake the refurbishment of the existing Ground and First Floor areas within a multi-storey office building, alongside the adjoining café premises.

The works will transform the spaces into a high-quality, flexible office and community environment, designed to support a range of uses and occupiers. The scheme will focus on enhancing functionality, modernising internal layouts, and creating adaptable areas that encourage collaboration and community engagement.

The refurbishment will include upgrades to internal finishes, reconfiguration of existing spaces, and integration of services to meet contemporary standards, delivering a versatile and future-ready workplace and community hub.

“The existing buildings have been vacant and unused for several years. Pre-commencement surveys for asbestos, legionella and MEP track & trace have been undertaken by KCCL on behalf of the Client.

The refurbishment of the areas will require close coordination and monitoring with the Client and other building users, to ensure safe and unimpeded access, egress and escape routes always.

KCCL will be working closely with the Client and wider design team to assist with all logistical and design development matters.”
