Well Done Team KC!
Colleagues from across Krol Corlett came together to take part in the Liverpool Half Marathon in support of Liverpool Zoe’s Place.
The challenge brought together employees from across the business, united by the shared goal of completing the 13.1-mile course.
With runners of mixed abilities taking part, the event was a personal milestone for many, including several participants completing their first half marathon.
Team Work Makes the Dream Work
In the lead-up to the race, team members supported one another through training and encouragement, building a strong sense of camaraderie.
On the day, the atmosphere was one of pride and perseverance as colleagues cheered each other on and celebrated crossing the finish line together.
Their efforts showcased the team’s determination while highlighting the strong culture of collaboration and community across the business.
Race Day Experience
Race day proved to be a fantastic experience for everyone involved, despite wet and windy conditions throughout the day. The challenging weather did little to dampen spirits, with runners and supporters alike embracing the elements and making the most of the occasion.
A vibrant and supportive atmosphere could be felt across the city, with crowds lining the streets to cheer participants on. Their enthusiasm, combined with the shared determination among runners, created a strong sense of community and encouragement throughout the event.
From the excitement at the start line to the celebrations at the finish, the day showcased the true spirit of the event.
Even with the rain and wind, it was a memorable and rewarding experience for all who took part.
Fundraising Impact
The funds raised through the Half Marathon will help support the vital work carried out by Liverpool Zoe’s Place, which provides specialist care and support for babies and young children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
So far, the team has raised over £1,700. A fantastic achievement that will make a meaningful difference to the charity and the families it supports.
