At Krol Corlett, we recognise that the construction industry is not all about hard hats and high visibility vests. It’s about collaboration, innovation, and breaking down barriers to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for all.

March marked a month of celebration and recognition for women across various industries, and our team enthusiastically participated in events centred around the themes of International Women’s Day (#IWD) and Women in Construction Week.

We’re immensely grateful for the trailblazers, collaborators, and wonderful connections we’ve made within the industry. As we reflect on the significance of this month, let’s take a moment to highlight just a few of the impactful events our team had the privilege to attend.

Women in Business Awards: A stand out event organised by Downtown in Business, where our charity partner, Joanne Henney, CEO of Nugent, was rightfully recognised and awarded the ‘Chief Executive Award.’ It was a moment of pride for us to see Joanne’s dedication and leadership acknowledged.

‘Power of Women Lunch’: Another memorable event hosted by our friends at Trinity Logistics. Not only was it an inspiring event, but it also raised an incredible £27,000+ for the Fighting to be Heard Foundation. It was heart warming to witness the generosity and support from team members and guests towards such a worthy cause.

Breaking Barriers: Women in Construction Luncheon: brought together female professionals and industry leaders together in Mayfair to  celebrate the resilience and achievements of women in the construction sector. It was a powerful reminder of the progress we’ve made and the challenges we continue to overcome in fostering diversity and inclusion within our field.

As we look towards the future, Krol Corlett remain committed to championing diversity and empowering women in construction. Together, let’s continue to build a brighter and more inclusive future for our industry.
